Growth in the human body involves much more than just the developing of our bodies. It is an incredibly intricate balance of varying anatomical growth rates, physiological changes, and shifting hormone status. To fuel growth and normal activity levels, a child's diet must provide for the accumulation of stores of nutrients in preparation for the accelerated growth spurts of the teen years. Children, especially girls, also need good nutrition to prepare their bodies for puberty. Children's multivitamins can give them the needed vitamins that they don't get from there food. This doesn't mean that kids can eat whatever they want and just take a multivitamin. With a balanced diet and good vitamins children should get the nutrients they need.
