Tri-Amino is a comprehensive product that combines three essential amino acids into one easy-to-take formula. Arginine is necessary for urea metabolism, a process that prepares toxic ammonia for safe urea cycle. Urea is the major end product of protein metabolism. Ammonia, the product of amino acid breakdown, is toxic and must be removed from the body. The urea cycle or the "ornithine cycle" describes the conversion reactions of ammonia into urea. Since these reactions occur in the liver, the urea is then transported to the kidneys where it is excreted. Lysine is an essential amino acid that is known for its role in the maintenance of nitrogen balance. Together these amino acids are critical for protein metabolism.*
Suggested Usage: As a dietary supplement, take 4 capsules one or more times daily with juice or water. Take before exercise or at bedtime. Consider taking this product in combination with NOW® L-Citrulline, P-5-P and AAKG.
